The warehouse is divided into two storage areas, covering an area of ​​11,000 square meters, with approximately 8,500 storage locations. It features a three-tiered shuttle racking system with a load capacity of 500 kg and eight shuttle vehicles (designed to bear a load of 1,250 kg). The system is suitable for pallets with a size of 1200*1200 mm, and each shuttle vehicle can manage more than 1,000 storage locations.

Introduction to shuttle-type high-density storage system

The shuttle-based high-density storage system primarily consists of shuttle-based racking, shuttles, forklifts, and other logistics equipment. Shuttle-based racking typically uses pallets as storage units, representing an advanced space utilization solution suitable for both first-in-first-out (FIFO) and first-in-last-out (FILO) operational methods.

The specific implementation process is as follows: a forklift places the shuttle and goods into the required operating aisle. Using a remote control, the shuttle independently lifts and moves the goods, delivering the pallets to the designated location. Sensors identify the location of stored pallets. Pallets do not contact each other during storage and retrieval. Shuttle racking systems are characterized by high warehouse space utilization and good system stability, making them particularly suitable for storing large quantities of single-variety goods in industries such as food and beverage, cold storage, fast-moving consumer goods, and third-party logistics.
