System Overview The Flying Box Robot System employs a dual-layer collaborative mode of "robot picking + AGV docking." The Flying Box Robot moves vertically and horizontally within the shelving, entering densely packed storage locations to retrieve the target box. Subsequently, the AGV automatically navigates to a pre-set docking position at the bottom of the shelving, where the Flying Box Robot smoothly places the box onto the AGV's loading platform. The AGV then departs, transporting the box to a manual picking station or workstation. The entire process requires no human intervention, achieving true "goods-to-person" delivery.
Core Process
Task Trigger: The WMS/WCS issues a picking instruction, specifying the box's location and destination.
Flying Box Picking: The Flying Box Robot autonomously navigates to the target storage location, retrieves the box using its telescopic picking mechanism, and carries it to the handover area at the bottom of the shelving.
AGV Docking: The system synchronously schedules the AGV to arrive at the dedicated docking point below the shelving, where the Flying Box Robot precisely places the box onto the AGV platform (positioning accuracy ±5mm).
Transfer to Human: The AGV automatically travels to the human operator's workstation. Audible and visual prompts or an automatic lifting platform adjusts the tote box to a comfortable working height. After the operator completes picking, the system can reverse back to the warehouse.

Human-Friendly: After delivery by the AGV, the tote box height and angle are ergonomically designed, eliminating the need for operators to bend over or climb, improving picking efficiency and comfort.
